This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit b.) GDPR, insofar as these cookies process data for contract initiation or contract execution.

If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our Internet presence. The legal basis is then Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

When you close your Internet browser, these session cookies are deleted.

b) Third-party cookies

If necessary, our website may also use cookies from partner companies with whom we cooperate for the purpose of advertising, analysis or the functionalities of our website.

The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO.

We use the services of Episerver GmbH, Wallstraße 16, 10179 Berlin, Germany (contractor) to send our newsletters. Since this is a pure order management in which the contractor may process the data solely for the purposes specified by us, may not use the data itself for his own purposes and has contractually undertaken to observe and comply with the legal requirements of the Basic Data Protection Ordinance, i.e. only as an "extended arm" of our company within the scope of his activities, separate consent by the person concerned is not required for this, but - if necessary - the consents given to us or other legal reasons are sufficient.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analysis service of Google Ireland ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland, hereinafter only called "Google".

By certification according to the EU-US privacy shield ("EU-US Privacy Shield") Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also observed when processing data in the USA.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyse the usage behaviour of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our Internet presence.

Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of the visit to our website, are transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymisation function. With this function Google shortens the IP address already within the EU or the EEA.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the usage activities there. This data can also be used to provide other services related to the use of our Internet presence and the use of the Internet.

Google states that it will not connect your IP address to other data. In addition, Google provides you at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners further information on data protection law, e.g. also on ways to prevent data use.

In addition, Google offers under https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en a so-called deactivation add-on together with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with the most popular Internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on informs Google Analytics' JavaScript (ga.js) that information about visits to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services.

Alternatively, the future analysis of your site visit by Google Analytics can be deactivated by clicking on the following link. By "clicking" on the link a so-called "Opt-Out-Cookie" is set, which means that the analysis of your page visit on our site will be prevented in the future: "Opt-out-Cookie" enabled for Google Analytics! Please note that if you delete the cookies in your browser settings or change or reinstall your browser, this may also result in the opt-out cookie being deleted and you may have to activate it again.

Google-Maps

On our website we use Google Maps to display locations and to create directions. This is a service of Google Ireland ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland, hereinafter only called "Google".

By certification according to the EU-US privacy shield ("EU-US Privacy Shield") Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also observed when processing data in the USA.

If you call the component Google Maps integrated into our Internet presence, Google stores a cookie on your end device via your Internet browser. Your user settings and data are processed to display our location and create a route description. We cannot exclude that Google uses servers in the USA.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimizing the functionality of our Internet presence.

By connecting to Google in this way, Google can determine from which website your request has been sent and to which IP address the directions are to be transmitted.

If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the installation of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your Internet browser. You will find details on this under "Cookies" above.

In addition, Google Maps and the information obtained via Google Maps are used according to the Google Terms of Use https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=EN&hl=en and the Terms and Conditions for Google Maps https://www.google.com/intl/de_en/help/terms_maps.html.

Every time the OpenStreetMap component is integrated into a page of our website, the Internet browser on the user's system automatically downloads a representation of the corresponding OpenStreetMap component from OpenStreetMap. More information about OpenStreetMap can be found at https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Main_Page. OpenStreetMap gets to know which specific subpage of our website is currently being called up by the user in order to be able to display the suitable map.

By certification according to the EU-US data protection shield ("EU-US Privacy Shield") Google and its subsidiary YouTube guarantee that the data protection requirements of the EU are also observed when processing data in the USA.

We use YouTube in conjunction with the "Advanced Privacy Mode" feature to show you videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving the quality of our Internet presence. According to YouTube, the "Extended data protection mode" function means that the data specified below will only be transmitted to the YouTube server if you actually start a video..

Without this "Extended Privacy Policy", a connection to the YouTube server in the USA will be established as soon as you access one of our Internet pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.

This connection is required to view the video on our website via your Internet browser. In the course of this, YouTube will at least record and process your IP address, the date and time as well as the website you visited. In addition, a connection to the Google advertising network "DoubleClick" is established.

If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube assigns the connection information to your YouTube account. If you wish to prevent this, you must either log out of YouTube before visiting our website or make the appropriate settings in your YouTube user account.

YouTube permanently stores cookies on your device via your Internet browser for the purpose of functionality and to analyze usage behavior. If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the storage of cookies by setting it in your Internet browser. You will find more detailed information on this under "Cookies" above.

Further information about the collection and use of data as well as your rights and protection options in this regard is provided by Google in the data protection information available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

In our website we use the advertising component Google AdWords and the so-called conversion tracking. This is a service of Google Ireland ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland, hereinafter only called "Google".

If you click on an ad placed by Google, the conversion tracking we use stores a cookie on your device. These so-called conversion cookies expire after 30 days and do not serve your personal identification.

If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page of our website, both we and Google can evaluate that you clicked on one of our ads placed on Google and that you were subsequently forwarded to our website.

Google uses the information we collect to provide us with statistics about visits to our website. In addition, we receive information about the number of users who clicked on our advertisement(s) as well as about the pages of our Internet presence that are subsequently called up. Neither we nor third parties who also use Google AdWords will be able to identify you in this way.

You can also prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your Internet browser. At the same time, you can delete cookies that have already been saved at any time. However, the steps and measures required depend on the Internet browser you are using. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your Internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support.
