What's the down payment?
The deposit amounts to 20% of the total price, plus the reservation costs of 24 EUR and is due immediately after booking. The balance will be paid 42 days before your arrival. If you book at very short notice and your holiday begins in less than 42 days, the total amount is due immediately. If you book for an arrival within the next 8 days, the total amount has to be paid exclusively by credit card or PayPal.
How is the travel price calculated?
The price of the trip is calculated per night and depends on the choice of accommodation, campsite and travel period. Optional extras such as bed linen, baby cot, high chair or insurance etc. will be charged separately. Additional costs may apply when booking a stopover, ferry or rental car.
What are the reservation costs?
For each booking we charge 24 Euro reservation costs.
Can I make a non-binding reservation?
We can record your desired accommodation up to 24 hours as an option. This is only possible by telephone. A booking via the website is a binding booking.
Can I book travel cancellation insurance?
We offer you a travel cancellation insurance from the insurance -Alte Leipziger- for 5% of the total amount. You can book the insurance immediately with the online booking or you can book 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation/invoice. How can I cancel?
We can only accept cancellations in writing (by e-mail, fax or post). Please note that the cancellation must only be sent and signed by the contracting party in whose name the booking is made.
Can I transfer my booked trip to another family?
Should you unfortunately not be able to start your booked journey, you can transfer the journey to another family. In this case we need a letter (by mail, fax or post) from you that you want to transfer the booking to another family. From this family we also need a written confirmation of the transfer of the booking (by mail, fax or mail). The costs for this rebooking are a one-time fee of 35 Euro.
Is there a free cancellation phase?
If you book before 01.10.2018, you can cancel until 31.01.2019 free of charge.
How can I pay my bill?
You can pay your invoice by bank transfer. Alternatively, we also offer payment by credit card and PayPal.
How can I redeem a voucher?
If you have a voucher, you can write the voucher code in the comment field of an online booking. If you book by phone or email, simply let us know the voucher code.

How long is the early booking period?
If you would like to benefit from the early booking conditions, you must book before 01.10.2019.
Are group bookings possible?

Is there a minimum age for booking?
The main booker must be at least 18 years of age on the day of booking and is responsible for all participants registered in the booking. We do not accept groups of one sex under 25. A combination of couples is permitted.
Are there SmileCamp employees on site?
We have our own staff on almost all campsites who will take care of you. At Camping Baia Domizia and Tonnara the campsite reception is your contact.
Is there internet access at the campsites?
More and more campsites offer Internet access or WLAN in certain areas of the campsite (e.g. at the reception, in the restaurant). Please refer to the campsite pages for information on the respective facilities. The costs may vary during the season. Please inform yourself on site about the current fees.
Can we park right next to the shelter?
In almost all cases you can park your vehicle near the accommodation. For detailed information, please call us so that we can check it individually for you.
Can we change our booking just before departure?
If you would like or need to make changes to your booking shortly before departure, you should contact our customer service: +49 (0)2131-4067972. Your change requests will then be checked for availability. If you would like to add extras such as bed linen etc. to your already confirmed booking, please contact us at +49 (0)2131-4067972. From one week before arrival, extras can only be added on request.
Can I book accommodation next to me for friends?
You can book a side-by-side guarantee. The prerequisite is that all families book the same period and the same type of accommodation. The side-by-side guarantee must be paid for each booking and can be booked for a maximum of three accommodations.
Desired parking spaces
We are happy to try to fulfil your parking space wishes. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet all your parking requirements.
What documents will I receive after booking?
If you have booked online, you will immediately receive an e-mail with your booking details. Attention: If you do not receive a booking confirmation, please check the spam folder in your e-mail program. You will receive your invoice and other documents by e-mail within one working day. If, contrary to expectations, you have not received a confirmation/invoice within three days, please call us at +49 (0)2131-4067972. You will receive your complete travel documents by e-mail approx. 3 weeks before departure. Please check the documents immediately for correctness and, if necessary, contact our customer service.
Can I arrive early in the morning or later than 8 p.m.?
The arrival time for your accommodation is 14 to 20 o'clock. If you arrive at the campsite early in the morning, please contact the campsite reception desk. We cannot guarantee that your accommodation is ready for occupancy. However, you can already stay at the campsite. If you arrive later, please let us know if you have different arrival times so that we can pass the information on to the local staff.
